Many people ask me how do I work at home and make money online full-time from home. My favourite answer is “create a blog”. Many will reply saying that they already have a blog but are not making any money. This is normal to me because anybody can easily create a blog but not many will know how to make money with their blogs. Many blogger also abandon their blog after a few months because they are not making any money.
The problem with make money blogging is that it takes time to “grow” your blog before you can make any money from it. Patient is the key here. You cannot expect to create a blog today and start making money tomorrow. It just doesn’t work that way. Blogging takes time and you need to wait a few months or years before you can see the money.
Anyway, your blog success depends on how much work you put in your blog. The best way to grow your blog is to create great content on a regular basis or even better daily. Your blog content must be unique – meaning that it must not be copied from any other sites on the Internet. Writing unique content will be good for your blog in the eye of the search engines.
How To Start A Blog
The are a lot of sites where you can create a blog. You can choose a free blog platform or a self hosted blog where you need to pay for blog hosting. Two of the top free blog platform are blogger and wordpress.com. However, if you want to make money blogging, I recommend you to create a blog at wordpress.org.
The reason behind is simple, self hosted wordpress blog belongs to you and you can customize the blog to your likings. Please note that free blogs hosted at blogger.com and wordpress.com does not belong to you. These blogs can be close down by the respective owner at any time and for any reason.
I currently host my blogs at BlueHostwhich have a friendly interface even for a newbie. BlueHost also provide one click installation of wordpress blog via simple scripts. If you want trouble free blogging, I would recommend you sign up with BlueHost.
How To Make Money Blogging
As I said earlier, anybody can create a blog but not many will be able to make money blogging.

However, if you just continue to read without taking any action or not following what these probloggers are teaching you, you are not going anywhere.

Yes En. Roseli, the truth is that blogs hosted on the WordPress or Blogger’s servers themselves are subjected to numerous limitations. This includes uploading files for people to download stuff from you, redirects to ‘cover’ your affiliate links, and most importantly I guess is bandwidth and actual disk space. Self hosted (like the ones you actually pay for) is great in terms of unique domain names, neat redirects links and your own unique email accounts.
I think that if you invest some capital in starting a business, you’d be more inclined to make it work for you rather than leave it to fail and stop believing that affiliate blogging can make money online.
Putting all that aside, the most important thing is to build internet traffic to your blog and convert those traffic to be a part of your mailing list.
